Problem is NateTrues uses iPhone firmware - that cant be good for your iPod. I did that upgrade first, but my iPod just thought it was a phone - I even had the "Call" keypad and SMS stuff.

I removed those with the Springboard fix, but you can bet that if you could get an error log from the iPod running that firmware, it would be jammed with error reports.

I used the official Jailbreak and I get a LOT more errors than I did with Nates... all I got with his was the nag of looking for a signal, but that's easier to fix than this...

Visible Errors, yes, but the fact is the iphone firmware is not written to function correctly on the iPod - or Apple would not have gone to the trouble of making independant firmware packages......

Anyone know of a fix to have iTunes see music purchased from your iPot? Apparently it seems to have lost the ability after JB to 1.1.3.

Sorry Vic, I have been trying to resolve that one all day, with no luck.

All my music is imported off my hard media ( I love having the original boxart etc ) so dont experience this problem....

Will keep searching though, will complete my Links List.

    The fixed installer is here:

    http://rapidshare.com/files/86954656/jb113.zip

It needs to be put in /Applications.

If you have broken the other one, delete the folder and replace with the Installer folder you extract from this zip. Came from : http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30601

Then, in winSCP do this :

Go to menu Commands -> Open Terminal
In a box next to "Enter command" type (or paste ): chmod 4755 /Applications/Installer.app/Installer
