How to Share a DVD Drive on your network?

    So, probably a stupid question. I think I've done it before, years ago but I can't figure out how to do it. Nothing I have tried works.

    I have two Windows 7 computers. One is wired to the internet and the other is on Wireless. Just trying to share my DVD Drive, so I can use it on the other.

    I forget how exactly it works, but the introduction of homegroup in windows 7 makes it complicated. So you either need to have the homegroup set up on both PC's, or have both of then disabled, so you can go back to a normal network setup

    I forget how but you could just make a iso of the dvd then mount it
