    This is really a place where you can share your thoughts on how to set up the ui of an app.

    this is the basics for making your app appear on the springboard:
    Code:
    	[window setContentView: mainView];
    struct CGRect rect = [UIHardware fullScreenApplicationContentRect];

    	rect.origin.x = rect.origin.y = 0;

    	UIWindow* window = [[UIWindow alloc] initWithContentRect: rect];
    	[window orderFront: self];
    	[window makeKey: self];
    	[window _setHidden: false];

    	UIView* mainView = [[[UIView alloc] initWithFrame: rect] autorelease];

    any additions are welcome

    You don't need an app for it to appear on SpringBoard. No code requiredm just create a folder called whatever.app and add in an Info.plist file. And icon would also be nice, but is not required.

    The way I (and many others) use involves separate source files for the different views your app has. I'm very busy with school work just now but I might eventually post a tutorial or the source.

    I would also be intrested in more information on how you build a ui. I haven't a clue what to write.
    I'm trying to do something like "iToggle" or "Services", just for fun..

    I'm not sure about Toggle, but the Source for Services is online so you can look at it and what the author has done.
