how to set permissions on 2.0

    is there any way to set ther permissions of a file on 2.0 without wifi, ive tried using mobile terminal but it just says killed after i enter the command is there any other way without wifi

    I'm searching for a solution too. I think iPhone PC Suite 1.0.7.2 doesn't work with 2.0 firmware to change permissions...

    Did u use chmod 755 /Applications/App.app?

    ya ive tried mobile commander and iphone suite niether work but im going to try icommander which is out on cydia and see if that works

    Log in to MobileTerminal as super user first.

    su root (Hit return)

    alpine (Hit return)

    chmod -R 775 /Applications/APPNAME.app (Hit return)

    i hope iphone pc suite gets updated or something so we can change permissions cause its always an error everytime i try

    i usually do the su root deal and it just keeps saying killed and never changes the permissions and ya i hope the iphone pc suite gets updated cause i used to use that all the time.
