How to set a area a color?

    How would I set a view that would turn black WHERE someone touches?
    I know how to do the touches I just need to know how to do the thing with the view thanks!!!

    self.view.backgroundColor = [UIColor blackColor]; I'm assume this is in UIViewController.

    No I wasn't asking how to change the whole background just some of it any ways I got it

    how would i change the color of touched area on the screen..??????
