iPhone 3GS how to save apps from the iphone 3gs to my computer?

    hello people,, i got a quick question,, how can i save all my apps in my computer?,, i just reset my computer to factory settings because of virus and spam but the problem that every time that i connect my iphone to my computer doesnt back up my apps, and im planing to update to IOS4, im actually in 3.1.3 iphone 3gs jailbroken, so i just wondering how could i take out my apps, save it my computer and then synchronized with my iphone again,, please somebody help me with this issue.

    The apps are saved on Apple's servers. If you bought an App. Angry Birds for example. You can download it for free.

    Go up at the top in iTunes and select File then click on Transfer Purchases

    thanks ripply i just transfer all my apps from my phone to my computer,, but i have to wait a little more to upgrade to IOS 4 becuase i dont see any jailbreak for the IOS 4 in iphone 3gs,, thank u!!

    No problem. Btw a jailbreak is out for all devices on 4.0 and 4.0.1. Just visit www.jailbreakme.com from safari on your iPhone

    i just check that jailbreakme.com ,, aparently will work in my iphone 3gs, but its that a tethered or unthetered jailbreak?

    It's untethered. If it was tethered there won't be anything to boot it back up.

    yeah but i dont like the hassle of jailbreak it every time that i will turn off my phone,, ;p,, thanks for the info,, im upgrading to ios 4 right now and im just worry about my notes,, cuz i have a lot of info in that,, ;p
