i found this out by accident but it's excellent!

    ok, here goes!
YOU Must be on 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 Jailbreaking 1.1.3

    1. on the firmware 1.1.2 or 1.1.1 ipod, downloadload "BossTool" From Installer(sleepers.net/iphonerepo)
    2. open it up and at the top, hit "Free Disk Space"
    3. After clicking "Free Disk Space, navigate your eyes to the bottom of the page and click "Relocate Applications" and Click "Do It!"
    4. now, jailbreak you touch to 1.1.3
    5. after jailbreak, do into installer and install "BossTool" again.
    6. do the same thing as before, "relocate applications"
    7. YOUR DONE! YIPPEE

everybody knows that. Or you can just drag them over to the media and back via ssh. But, that won't last through a restore.

oh thats great, i had already done it but didnt realize its advantage besides more disk space. with this i will be able to keep everything right? ..meaning all my previous applications will still exist once i install bosstool, without me installing them individually through installer?

i was also curious about the sources, i have many sources on my installer on my 1.1.1, if i were to upgrade to jailbreak 1.1.3 would i have to reenter all the sources?
