    This is for MAC users.

Here is a simple trick on how to run some Mac OS X (not all) widgets on your iPod/iPhone.

First what you want to do is make sure you have Open SSH installed on your iPod/iPhone and a client to connect with on your computer.

Next open the Hard Drive icon on your mac (usually in the upper right corner) and navigate to System> Library> WidgetRescources and copy the WidgetResources foler to your iPod/iPhone. Place it under System> Library.

Then through SSH navigate to Library> and create a new folder called "Widgets" (without quotations)

Inside that folder you can place .wdgt files.

For example I copied Dictionary.wdgt from my Mac's Library> Widgets folder to the widgets folder created on my iPod.

After a respring they should show up on springboard.

He left out the part that you need to install the Widgets.app, try that and it might work. Although the article was from September 2007, so it may not work on 2.x.

    Just noticed.

It's probably for 1.0 firmware then.
