    Hey Guys

Im a relatively massive noob, however I had successfully jail broken my ipod touch, set up all my apps and themes to my liking and even set up the open ssh and voip. Then I got c*cky. I downloaded the bosstools app, fixed they annoying "running out of space" running and decide I would prep for an update to 1.1.2. Thats when the sh*t hit the fan. the update seemed to go well, the i took the ipod out of the dock and it turned on fine, however it wans't respond to my touch, i couldnt slide to unlock, and the loading wheel came up, and that was it, it just kept loading, beeping and loading.

I was forced to factory rest it, good times.

Moral of the story, dont get c*cky and update without reading everything you can.

After jailbreak - Why don't you update to 1.1.2 first before downloading other themes/apps?

Well, the things to really take away from this are

    (1) read before making changes
    and
    (2) it is actually hard to ruin an ipod touch - since clearly you were able to recover from the mistake, you didn't ruin anything but an afternoon or evening of time...

Sure, it sucks to have to redo everything. But its doable. And this time, you won't make that mistake
