I have seen several people who either haven't got or can't get SBSettings and need to respring their device often. This may have been discovered before but I searched and couldn't find anything like this on this site so I thought I would make a little guide on how to Respring, Reboot get into Safe Mode, run iOS Diagnostics etc. without SBSettings.

    1. Install Activator from Cydia.

    2. Go into Settings, scroll down to Activator go into it then choose 'Anywhere' then the gesture you would like to use.

    3. Scroll down to System Actions then in that little submenu is a variety of things you can apply

    4. Scroll down a bit further to System Applications and then scroll down a little bit further until you see this

Once you have selected an action you can keep on using it without the need of SBSettings

    .

If you have selected iOS Diagnostics then open it using the gesture you selected then you will come to this screen where it says 'To receive support services ,enter the ticket number you were given'

Currently I don't know what this is but I presume that if you take it to an Apple Store the person fixing it would enter a ticket number of some sort. If anyone could shed some light on this I'm sure everyone would appreciate it

I have no idea. Just something that you can run and it seems like Apple meant to put it there. Don't know how you would access it with an Unjailbroken device though.

After a quick google search, it appears to be just that: a diagnostic tool. It's like CrashReporter on Mac: it sends info to Apple, and a Genious Bar Employee gets back to you after analyzing the sent data.

Activator installs SBSettings too. So what's the point?

    No, SBsettings installs Activator.
