how to reset iPod touch 4G without iTunes

    How do you reset your iPod 4G without itunes?

    GO into Settings and you can reset everything

    K so.. I got to reset it. but now it wants me to connect to itunes but i dont have itunes installed.

    What iOS are you on and which device? I don't recall having to hook it up to a computer anytime recently.

    That's what I was thinking. Maybe it's an old iPod 2nd gen or something

    You'll need to install iTunes and restore.

    If it's an iPod touch 4th generation: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. As for any other iPod, iTunes is required as far as I know.
