    I decided that I didn't want homescreen wallpapers on my slow iPod touch 2g, so I went to the plist in ifile and changed homescreen wallpapers to false. I rebooted, but the wallpaper is still there. Can anyone help?

    rerun redsn0w and disable them, but retry the pplist edit first, that should work.

    I would of thought that editing the .plist would solve the problem.

    Edit the .plist and instead of changing the background status to false, just try deleting the entire key:

    Code:
    <key>homescreen-wallpaper</key>
    <false/>
    ^just delete the entire thing then respring.
