How to remove/uninstall Cydia Installer packages??

    Anyone know how to remove the Cydia Installer package the entire 37MB package?

    that was dump during the custom firmware process in Pwnage 2.0.1

    I only want to keep OpenSSH running.

    You don't want to remove Cydia, trust me. Otherwise there will be no UNIX tools.

    so if i remove the entire cydia packages (37mb) that means OPENSSH wont run?

    More or less, yeah. Uninstalling Cydia may be an option once you can get BSD Subsystem from Installer, but until Installer 4 is out, don't uninstall Cydia.

    ok... in that case i wait... thanks for the tips/advice


    just on a side track... regarding

    Openssh - is there a command line that you can type in MobileTerminal to Start/Stop the service?

    if not, will Openssh service STOP (OFF) when WIFI is OFF or does it (Openssh) remain ON?

    just dont want Openssh to drain battery while WIFI is OFF...

    get BossPrefs you can turn it off manually

    By the way, OpenSSH doesn't drain battery until it has a connection. Until then it's completely off.

    You don't need to turn off SSH. It's technically Off when not in use, but it turns on when there's an incoming connection.
