    Code:
    <key>multitasking</key>
    </true>
    to
    Code:
    <key>multitasking</key>
    </false>

    The only way to do that is to do what XxRedRumxX said but you have to be able to access the files on your iPod. you can download iFunBox on your computer. It is really easy to use.

    Try adding it under <key>Stand-Alone-Contacts<key/> (Or something like that)

    And also, I believe it's <key/> and <true/>/<false/>

    3G don"t have that line of code. Try downloading backgrouder and disabling it.

    for how to disable multitasking. I have a iPod touch 3rd Gen running iOS 4.1 Jailbroken. I have tried the Plist method mentioned above to no avail. Aswell as several apps from Cydia. (zToggle doesn't support my iDevice)

    Thanks to anyone who finds a solution in advance,

    Just add that line of text and type false.

    Like RedRum said. That should work.

    Be sure to back up your old ones.
