Here's what you do if pwnage tool bricked your iPod touch:

    Read carefully:

Before you start: Note, the screen MAY or MAY NOT display ANYTHING on the screen, ignore what the screen does... trust me, it's still doing something regardless of what the screen says on it.

    1. Plug the iPod touch into computer via USB cable
    2. Hold down Power and Home button, close your eyes, and count to ten mississippi
    3. Once you've counted to exactly ten, let go of power and keep holding home for another ten mississippi.
    4. iTunes should now recognize the iPod touch as "Restore Mode" or "Recovery Mode". If it does not, keep holding home until it does.

    Edit: Found this somewhere else:

"The timing is critical if you want to get in. The procedure starts out the same as the other mode, only you really shouldn't have the usb/power cable connected. Hold the power and home buttons for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button and hold the home button for another 10 seconds. At this point, connect the usb cable and iTunes should detect your phone in recovery mode. Your iPhone will not appear to be on, the screen will be dark throughout the whole process until the actual restore begins. If the screen comes back on while you're holding the power and home buttons, you're holding too long. It takes a while to get the hang of it, just keep trying."
