This is a guide on how to 'reboot' your iPod touch 2G without booting it from a computer using an application called SbSettings.

    1) Go into cydia and search for the application mentioned above.
    2) Install it.
    3) To access SbSettings, slide your finger along the top of your screen.
    4) When you install an application that requires a Reboot, i.e. winterboard, slide your finger along the top of the screen to access SbSettings and tap Respring.
    5) You should have Winterboard.

If anyone can help me get a 5-icon PAGE please post how =D

another good tool from cydia is PowerTool, a hard respring seems like it just sends you to the lock screen
i use it every time i put in a new app ^__^
