How to really jailbreak 2g on a mac

    i get stuck when using unzip.txt because whenever i put it in and press enter, the terminal comes up with an error saying "replace 211/018-4166-1.dmg? [y]es, [n]o, [A]ll, [N]one, [r]ename: error: invalid response
    replace 211/018-4166-1.dmg? [y]es, [n]o, [A]ll, [N]one, [r]ename: " and asks me to type after replace. Help please?

    Oh thanks! I did that, but when i get to typing in the ./rslite, it comes up with this error: 172:~/Desktop/rslite huwhennessy$ ./rslite
    dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libusb-0.1.4.dylib

    yea i did but it came as libusb.pkg.tar. Im wondering if i need to do anything with that. I used the links you put in your tutorial to get libusb.

    omg i think im the biggest idiot ever... i am now INSTALLING libusb like i guess i had to all along

    although i am still getting something called a "bus error"? Yea im now getting bus errors every time. This is confusing. I installed libusb and all went well. But now im stuck again

    I am also suffering from the Bus Error issue. I have installed libusb (the files that rslite are looking for seem to be in my /lib/), an am using a MacBook with Tiger.

    Wrong firmware bundle selected

    Wrong firmware bundle selected appears when I try to select 211.ipsw in pwnage tool.

    Please help me, I'm going crazy here!!

    I am 99% sure I downloaded the correct firmware

    Open up Applications->Utilities->Terminal and then do "sum 211.ipsw" and paste the results here.

    That "211.ipsw" will need to be the actual path of your 211.ipsw. You should be able to just type "sum" then space then drag the 211.ipsw into that Terminal window.
