So I got my iPod yesterday....and now I want to re-charge my battery...[for the first time] but I don't know how to.

I only got the USB cable with my iPod...and don't know how to use it to charge my iPod Touch.

I can't use Dock Adaports......but I didn't get it with that anyways...I ahve learnt that I can re-charge mine using my computer but I have no clue...it's something about High Powered USB port on my computer, but I don't know where that is and what I do.

Plese help me...I'd really appreciate any help.

    Thankyou!

When you plug the Cable into your computer and iPod touch, it will automatically start charging.

They are usually on the back or the side of your computer.

Most computers have them on the front too, unless it's at least 3 or 4 years old.

When I do that, it starts to Synchronize.....so I don't want that. I want it to re-charge.

It charges and syncs at the same time.
There is an option in iTunes that disables the auto-sync. Check it.

Then disable automatic synchronization in your preferences.

You can turn off auto-sync. Edit>Preferences>Devices and check the box next to "Disable automatic syncing for iPhones and iPods."

Then, it won't sync unless you tell it to.
