Though there are a few Japanese apps available to people in the U.S. via the App Store, if one does not have a credit card with a registered address in Japan, the vast majority of Japanese applications are not visible (in the App Store). Is there a way around this? よろしくお願いします。
really simple, just go to itunes log out, go to the store at the bottom of the page and choose "japan" as your region, then create a new account for that store, you must have a japanese address that works to create a new account, I would suggest you ask a friend from japan, OR just look up a pizza hut in tokyo and put in that info. I don't know how well your japanese is but if its not that great you should ask for help from someone that is fluent.
I didn't realize that it was that simple and thought it had to do with ones credit card billing address (that's what I was told at an Apple Store). Thanks for your input Jomann, I appreciate it.
