20GB is unheard of here in Aus.

Just keep an eye on your *******s.

I have been looking for software that does that.

There used to be software, like that. It gave you a cumulative read-out.

I haven't seen anything since XP. Now, I haven't found that.

I have XP Home on the netbook, and of course, I have iPod Touch.

I am only using the netbook and Touch on the limited service.

Sprint MiFI limits me to 5 GB. Sprint said I went "over" the limit.

I don't believe I used it, because I didn't use all of 2 GB with Clearwire "Spot" coverage in greater Portland, OR.

I have a question: is streaming audio or streaming video (uTube, etc.) like a "download" that is, does the streaming audio or streaming video add-up on these limited service plans?

If so, no Pandora, iHeart radio or whatever and no uTube or whatever.

I did find the Sprint MiFI "router" "Home" shows Received and Transmitted, in MB.

I realise, the Wireless Network Connection Status also shows Sent and Received, in kb.

I went to Firefox > Tools > Options > Content > and I unchecked "Load images automatically"

    In Exceptions... I allowed www.ifans.com

I will have to monitor OFF and ON, to evaluate the useage.

I have Block Pop-up Windows and AdBlock.

I am interested in more strategies.

It is difficult to believe these numbers. If no pictures. I may as well be in Lynx.

I did better than this in Arachne DOS browser.

-Do as much stuff as you can on another wifi network that doesn't charge you.
-Opt to reading over watching videos, i.e. reading a tutorial on how to fix something rather then watching a video tutorial

My gay internet company cuts my download speed in half if I transfer 3GB in like 12 hours. It sounds like it'd be difficult, but trust me, I do it every day.
