Well as you know the jailbreak is great however there are existing problems even though you used the offical jailbreaking method. One that i will discus today would be Application Space Limit. You can try using winscp and bosstool but it won't work. The only way to do this is by using these two apps.

    Winscp
    Total Commander.

Search the forums to learn how to install these two programs, total command tutorial can be found here: http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15569

    1. Connect your ipod to your computer
    2. Go into total commander and access your ipod
    3. Drag the Applications folder into var
    4. Wait and you will see that it is COPYING the folder over to var not moving
    5. When complete delete the Applications folder from your root in Total Commander

    6. Now load up Winscp and go into /private/var/
    7. Right click on the Applications folder and type in the box 775 not 755.
7a. Check the box next to "set group, ower and permissions recursively"
7b. Click ok and wait while it sets the permission for the folder and all it's contents inside.
    8. Now go into the root of your iPod: /
    9. Right click in a blank area and go to New -> Link
    10. For Link/Shortcut File type in : Applications
    11. For point link/shortcut to type in: /private/var/Applications
    12. Go into terminal "Command -> Open Terminal"
    13. Type in this command : chmod 4755 /private/var/Applications/Installer.app/Installer
    14. Click execute
    15. Exit terminal.
    16. Respring your ipod (optional)

And you are completed with alot more space for your appliciations.

    Enjoy,
    Jon

Note: That some people get the bosstool to work and some don't. Use this method and it will work for sure.

it will work, you just may have to uninstall some apps first.

and if you get a quick spining circle then nothing - uninstall all your apps, including boss tool, then reinstall it on its own.

Once the folder has moved, the menu item will say "Apps Folder Moved" to confirm.
