Alright i can't get help with this for the past 2 hours i'm trying at this and i can't get it i'm planning to go back to 1.1.2 soon cause this is worst then when 1.1.2 originally was released. Alright there is no way to move the app folder so how could you gain more space ??? Boss tool won't work it only moves wallpaper but can't move applications. I tried using winscp and using terminal commands but i get an error everytime i try to move the folder. And when i run out of space i get a main script execution error in the installer.app which basically means i'm low on space. So i deleted youtube.app to get some space and i need to know how to move the application folder so i can put you tube back and install more than applications.

Any help would be appreciated cause i can't get help from anyone so far so the little help is appreciated.

    Take care

    in ssh:

    # cd /
    # cp -pr Applications /var/
    # mv Applications Applications.old
    # ln -s private/var/Applications /Applications
    # ls -lA

    reboot

    if everything works

    # rm -rf /Applications.old

or even into Term-vt100. nothing is working for me right now except TotalCommander. Installer keeps crashing right after "Downloading Package" completes, SSH wont work/turn on. Term-vt100 keeps asking me for a password, and no matter what i type its wrong.

1337chaos, your installer is crashing because you are out of app space. I would delete some apps, install boss tool, move the apps folder, then reinstall what you want.

i tried this all day long but did not work. then i read about BOSSTOOL..
only .34a version fixes this. install it and run it and moving the app folder is a one click thing,, finally i was able to resolve the space issue..
    look for BOSS TOOL .34a

err... ssh is meant to be done with a terminal... i don't know to do it with a gui that i haven't used, sorry.

if you are on *nix (including a mac), use terminal
if you are on windows, i think putty is what you use
