HOW TO: Modifying "Touchgrind.app"

    HOW TO MOD "TOUCHGRIND.APP"

    Color Code:
    • Orange > Requirements
    • Blue > Installation
    • Green > Modification

    Required:
    • Jailbroken 2.X+ iPod Touch
    • SSH Client
    • Touchgrind.app
    • Desired Board, Park Mod Download

    Optional:
    • Soda


    Instructions:

    Installing:
    1. Open your SSH Client and go into your iPod Touch
      Username: root
      Password: alpine
    2. Navigate to "/private/var/stash/Applications"
    3. Download "Touchgrinds.app" from the above link, or from iTunes
    4. Add "Touchgrinds.app" to "/private/var/stash/Applications"
    5. Edit the Properties, and change the permissions from "757" to "755"
    6. Save
    7. Disconnect
    8. Restart iPod

    Modding:
    1. Navigate to "/private/var/stash/Applications/Touchgrind.app"
      BOARDS:
    2. Go into "/private/var/stash/Applications/Touchgrind.app/boards", and drag the 3 board files into "/private/var/stash/Applications/Touchgrind.app/boards"
      PARKS:
    3. Navigate to "/private/var/stash/Applications/Touchgrind.app/"
    4. Go into "/private/var/stash/Applications/Touchgrind.app/parks"
    5. Backup the park you wish to change:
      default > Compitition, Jam Session
      backyard > WarmUp
      how-to > How to video (DO NOT MODIFY)
    6. Rename your modded park, to the park you backed up, and add it to "/private/var/stash/Applications/Touchgrind.app/parks"
    7. Disconnect
    8. Exit Application and restart it

    Also if you open the board files (first convert to XML if on pc) and edit them, you can unlock all the boards easily by editing the unlock number. For example if a board is unlocked at 100,000 and you're too much of a noob to get there just take out three zeros and then you unlock it after the first trick.


    You can also mod the boards' appearance... copy them your hard drive and left click>edit and it should open it in paint.

    Use Photoshop CS4...

    I have Touchgrind on my ipod touch allready but i cant find it anywhere when i ssh

    I had this mistake as well. Look in /mobile/Applications and it should be there.
