I read that it's possible to modify a file to stop the iPod from automatically applying the 3D effect to an icon? I have a custom icon that I want to assign to an App Store application, but that 3D effect screws it up.

Anyone want to help me out?

I know you are new and welcome to the forum but please only post one thread with the same question.

Ok sorry about the multiple posts, I got it to work. To take off the 3D effect you need to set UIPrerenderedIcon = true in the Info.plist file for the app. To edit that file on Windows you first need to convert it to XML, and I used this: http://140.124.181.188/~khchung/cgi-bin/plutil.cgi
