So you want to have a single app for your music? Instead of Videos being separate from Music, you'd just like iPod? Don't waste your time with buggy tweaks or themes like MMPflip. This tutorial will show you a simple tweak with a .plist file to merge the two applications. 1. Download iFile from Cydia iFile is a great filebrowser application, it costs a few dollars but you can use its limited version for this. 2. Open it and navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app You should start on "/" (root) the first time you open iFile. Scroll down and go to the System folder, then the Library folder, then the CoreServices folder, then SpringBoard.app. 3. Search "N82AP.plist" and open it Scroll up in the SpringBoard.app directory like you would in your music app for the search box and type "n82ap" and select the only file there. (Note: the 82 seems to be for iPhone 4, if you can't find 82 then search for n72ap and you should find it. I'm not sure which devices have which.) 4. Press Edit and scroll down to where you see "<key>stand-alone-contacts</key>" This can go anywhere under the "capabilities" <dict> but I put it under the specified one because I has OCD and likes alphabets. 5. Under <true/> type the following: <key>unified-ipod</key> <true/> 6. Save, Done, respring. WIN Just updated for iOS4, for those who care. It was simply a different name for the plist.
