I just had the thought and it works

    Materials
    Aluminum Foil
A pen or pencil shaped object

    1. wrap the aluminum foil around the tip of the rod shaped object
    2. (optional) tape the aluminium around for stability
    3. Your Done

    Tips..
If it does not work, then push a little harder
Also make sure the tip is sort of blunt

Please list any suggestions or ideas

I will upload pictures as soon as i can

I would be afraid that the aluminum foil would scratch the glass but, that is probably me just being paranoid.

well ive had my ipod touch for a while now, almost a couple months and i have had no scratches
another suggestion would be to tap a bit of thin thin soft piece of fabric over the aluminum. i have tested it with fabric and you have to push a little harder but its works great

Hmm, I might try that later. It sounds pretty cool (and cheap, you can beat that!)

You have to make sure that your touching the foil for this to work. The screen works with capacitance.

Not necessarily. I took a pen, wrapped the entire thing in foil, then over that I used electric tape. With about 1-2 layers of electric tape, it still works perfectly fine on the iPoT screen.

My guess is since the iPoT screen uses electrons, the electric tape doesn't have enough layers so your electrons can still get through, to the screen thus making a stylus. I'll try to post pics/vid later.
