How to make AIM give me Out-of-app Notifications

    How can i get AIM to give me a message recieved notification from outside the app?

    Any suggestions?

    It might have an option for it, I'm not sure. Just check on the program for it. Honestly though, I would just go with IM+ because it will email you when you get a msg on it.

    Just download the Backgrounder app from Cydia. Then when your in AIM just hold in the home button until you get a pop up from backgrounder then let go, the app will close but it will still be running in the background. I never tested it but i'd figure it would work.

    does that work for the youtube app too? i hate how I cannot navigate to another app and do something else while waiting for a video to load.
