I got my iPod Touch replaced because it wouldn't power on, but it came with 2.2.1 on it. I'd like to upgrade to 3.0 and jailbreak. I've already purchased 3.0 awhile back for $10, but when I upgraded to iTunes 9 it erased all my previous software upgrades. iTunes gives me the option to upgrade for free since I've already purchased it, but to 3.1.1. How can I upgrade to just 3.0 legally?

If you've paid for it, then go ahead and DFU restore to the ipod touch 2g firmware 3.0 from the second dropdown box on [redacted]

    No, it's not

I found the firmware on another computer that hadn't been upgraded to iTunes 9 yet, and I was able to jailbreak it.

    Thanks everyone for the help.

Doesn't matter, you still can't post it here.
