this will make Safari launch straight to a home page of your choice! No coding required!

Launch Safari and open the page you would like to have as your start page.

Add the bookmark to the home page by touching the "plus" icon on the bottom bar. Touch "Add to Home Screen"

name the bookmark "Safari" and save.

(optional) hide the actual safari app with Poof or put it in a Categories folder.

If you're using a theme with a Safari icon, respring and you're good to go.

If you don't have an icon you can use the icon from the MobileSafari folder in Applications.xxxx

    enjoy your start page awesomeness!

Couldn't you use Rename from Cydia to change the name of the bookmark to MobileSafari.app or whatever?

This is quite a simple way... I do this, but didn't think of this as a homepage.

Don't know if rename would work on bookmarks or not... This is easier though. Takes only winterboard to do. In fact you could even do it without winterboard if you overwrote the icon in the webclips directory.

You cant rename it MobileSafari.app Because its not an app its a webclip. Its also impossible to Poof a webclip... There are however other ways to hide it
