How to Jailbreak to 3.0 - Windows

    it wont detect my device in dfu mode. it keeps saying no device detected and my ipod touch is in dfu mode. btw im using redsn0w 1.7.1

    When it says: Waiting for reboot, it doesn't reboot. Do I do it manually or is it automatic?

    Something confuses me in the 0.7.1 GUI, it says I should select the IPSW that is my CURRENT firmware so I need to give it the 2.2.1 firmware or what? Since I'm still on 2.2.1

    For that matter, do I need to go to 3.0 official first before or I can go to 3.0 Jailbraked or does 2.2.1 Jailbreaked to 3.0 Jailbreaked works?

    You have to be running 3.0 prior to using redsn0w.

    After Jailbreak my iPod 2G keeps showing up the "Connect to iTunes" logo. But when I open iTunes it says that there is a iPod in DFU mode and that I have to restore it..

    Any idea?

    damn stupid questions. dudes.

    update the firmware on the iPod Touch or iPhone to 3.0 and after that drag and drow that .ipsw file on the redsnow.exe. it will assist you in entering dfu, and after that it will start jailbreaking the pod,phone,etc.

    download the redsnow from piratebay, or from a mirror and after that do this sh*t.
