JB on iPod Touch 4G Mac (require Windows, either bootcamp or PC)

I will show you how to jailbreak using limera1n, which is currently not supported on Mac.

    Requirements:
    Macintosh Computer (Obvious)
Bootcamp with any windows version (XP, Vista, 7)
If not, then any Windows PC will do it.
    iPod Touch 4G
    iPod dock connector
    Patience

    Steps:
1.Please backup your iPod JUST IN CASE!
2.Plus your iPod Touch 4G, while in Windows.
    3.Download limera1n from: http://www.limera1n.com/
4.Follow the steps (It's just "click" and "DFU Mode")
5.Wait till you see the limera1n logo on your iPod Touch 4G.
6.After that, your iPod Touch 4g will automatically shut down.
7.Move back to your Mac, and plug your iPod Touch 4G.
8.Unlock your device (slide to unlock), and turn your Wi-Fi on.
9.Open limera1n app., and tap on Cydia.
    10.It will install Cydia.
    11.After all is done, reboot!
    VOILA! YOU ARE DONE!

    Feelings:
Doesn't lag AT ALL. I used to use iPod Touch 1G, so this is a hugh significance.
    Battery: Currently Testing.
    Jailbreak Apps: Currently Testing.
    SBSettings working!
    [PIRACY] 4.1 working!
    Infinifolders doesn't work.

Yeah, after limera1n app. installs Cydia, you have to reboot to get Cydia on your homescreen.
    Hope this helps!

You can not jailbreak on a Mac yet. If you use a Windows computer to do the INITIAL steps, like the actual jailbreak, then its not a Mac jailbreak, I'm not sure how much computer knowledge you have but it doesn't take much to realize this is kind of a stupid idea as it doesn't qualify as Mac-compatible. It will be released. But as of now, there is no limera1n program that is compatible with Macs.

I'm pretty sure geohot will release it.
btw, computer knowledge? what are you talking? doesn't even make any sense.
I was desperate for jailbreak, so I tried it on Windows Bootcamp first because I knew that DFU Mode will only be the step to install the limera1n, so when it is turned off, I can go back to Mac and sync it without erasing data, etc.
It's still not Mac compatible, but until they release it, this is the ONLY way to jailbreak it.
Tell me any other way that you can think of to jailbreak it on Mac RIGHT NOW. You should know the answer to that if you have "more computer knowledge" than I do.

    Oh, nice Chamilism.
Using Wine for that. That would take more time than this.

This is the exact reason why I don't post on these anymore.

Read the name of the thread, "How to jailbreak iPod Touch 4G on MAC"
You then explained that you need to use a WINDOWS computer to use the downloaded file.
Now, the knowledge I was referring to is, when you run limera1n on the WINDOWS computer, it instals/exploits the iPod at THAT VERY TIME. When you unplug it from the WINDOWS computer and plug it into a Mac, it doesn't become a "Jailbreak for Mac."

And the other way to jailbreak it on a Mac right now is to wait.

And can you point out the post that said I had more computer knowledge? I just haven't been able to find it but you did so I just want to see it, thanks!

    @andrew!
    I appreciate your comment.
btw, are you a Mac user? Just curious.
Because, as a Mac user, I know all of my friends wants Windows on their Mac, and I installed 28 times, to be precise.
It's technically on Mac. Eventhough the OS is Windows, every single bit of a hardware is Mac. The only difference is OS.
This is even possible on Parallel's Desktop or Fusion. Well, isn't THAT on Mac?
P.S. I just don't want to get into debate stuff. I had it for past 5 years. In school, to be specific.
