    Anyone getting app crashing regularly with this jb? I jb my 4 the day it came out & it's been fine until this week. Now all my apps are crashing for no reason?

    You can add Linux into instructions, though most linux users won't need it. They just need to open properties on it if they use a file manager and click the box to allow execution as a program, close properties box, then just double click it (or single if you use that option which is common amongst thunar users)

    It has the same/or similar UI so it isn't anymore complicating than the others.

    Hey it's been a long time since I've been here but here is my problem I tried to jailbreak my friends iPhone 4 using absinthe but when I connect the phone to my computer the program says that it's an iPhone 3/3 and then it's says hmmm something has gone wrong is there anyway of fixing this. The phone is updated to the current firmware and everything

    iPhone3,3 is the model. iPhone1,1=2G; 1,2=3G; 2,1=3GS; 3,1=4 GSM; 3,3=4 CDMA; 4,1=4S.
    Jailbreak it with redsn0w 0.9.14b2.

    Ok Im stuck for some reason I have an iphone 4 with sprint but redsnow thinks its a verizon iphone 4. I tried to jailbreak my iphone 4 5.1.1 and it went well but I cant open cydia and when I try to erase all settings and re jailbreak itunes says that it cant connect to my iPhone

    Redsn0w will identify it as Verizon because it is CDMA, the hardware is the same. Never use the Erase All Content and Settings button when jailbroken. Restore with iTunes and then jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.14b2.

    I get this error message when I connect my iphone to my computer. iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. Could not establish a secure connection to the device.
