    3.1.2 questions

i thought spirit was a 3.1.2 jailbreak. If i'm already jailbreaked with blackra1n tethered, and i want to be untethered with spirit, i have to restore? thanks

Yup. Spirit jailbreaks all iDevices untethered, no matter what the OS version (unless you're on 4.0b, but that's a different story) I wrote this guide for people like you. You quallify 100% for Spirit.

Thanks again! If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be delighted to add them (specifically for my to-do lists)

What would happen if we updated our firmware through the 'Update' option instead of the 'restore' option ?
