The part with Summerboard , Customize , do you have to do these parts just when you have jailbroken you ipod with iLiberty or you have to do them after every 1.1.4 jailbreak method ?

okay, I get up to the point where iLiberty attempts to boot the ipod into recovery mode, and nothing. I unplug+reconnect the iPod, and then it just freezes up. The iPod is fully functional, and iLiberty doesn't do anything. Am I doing something wrong?

I also having a "frozen iPod" problem although mine is regarding installer.

I jailbreaked the iPod (step 1c) and installed only Installer (no Cydia nor anything else).
I then set the auto lock to never, checked wifi and stuff.
Then went into installer, it said that there was an installer update so I installed it, respring, etc.
Then I go back to Installer.
I try to go into Install and then my iPod freezes.
    :(

I switch it off, then switch it on...
    Apple logo...
    Still Apple logo...
And it stays on the Apple logo...

And then finally my iPod boots.
I go to Installer to recheck.
Click on Update just to see if it does the same thing.
    And it does.
    Again frozen iPod.

I tried the jailbreak 3-4 times now, and still the same freezing problem basically at the same moment.

EDIT: Okay duh, I just saw the freezing keyboard thingy. I'm gonna restore now...

wow your gonna get a lot of mixed emotions on that one. They are pretty much coke & pepsi too me lol although I saw Cydia for first time the other day and looked a lot cooler, I'd like to switch but probably to much of a mission.

thx for the reply..i'll go with just the installer :). i have one more doubt.. it says i need to add the source 'http://khaos139.890m.com/repo.xml'. In that step it uses a wifi connection, what if i dont have one? do i skip that step?

Jiggy Runtime caused my touch to not start without plugging it in.

I uninstalled it and everything is fine.
