yo i'm sorry to bother but I am really scared to start all over and would like to try and avoid it if i can. everything is working fine except for customize not finding any files that I have dl'd and I know it's cuz of that step I followed in redirecting, my question is can I undo it maybe reinstalling it will do the trick?

Hey guys, I have the same problem. And I dont understand the explanation on how to change to 775. So im wondering if someone could clarify this for me....

Also some icons dont change (like the weather icon staying at 23 degrees when its actually 6 degrees), or is this because of the problem above ??

Thanx guys and awesome post it helped me a lottt !!

You Can Sync The Official iPhone Apps, But Only Do It AFTER You Jailbreak
    1. Restore to a fresh 1.1.4 iPhone/iPod Touch
    2. Sync and Name your iPhone/iPod Touch what ever you want, just make sure you set as new ipod
    3. Go to http://ipluspwns.com/ and download and install iLiberty +
    4. Plug your iPhone/iPod Touch into the Computer and on iLiberty + click jailbreak and setup installer Then Click The Go Button, if it says Cydia instead, follow this.

i have windows this is the guide im suppoused to be following correct? oh and when u say in step 2 sync and name your ipod you mean using itunes right? whats the point of restoring it in step 1 if your just going to go back into itunes and sync and name ur ipod?
