How To: iPhone 1.1.2 Apps(With Pictures)

    anyone without the 1.1.2 iPhone apps can get em here:

    here

    When you download em, unzip them and place all the .apps into Your applications folder:

    Please Register or Log in to view images


    (Change The Permissions To 755)
    Then, take the GMM.framework file and put it in your /System/Library/Frameworks/ folder:

    Then, Take the MobileMailSettings.bundle and put it in your /System/Library/PreferenceBundles folder:

    Please Register or Log in to view images



    Restart you ipod and voila! you have the iphone apps

    By The Way, If you already had these and your Mail app was working with 1.1.1 but not 1.1.2, all you have to do is replace the MobileMail.app with the old one, you dont have to replace the bundle file or anything... This is my first tutorial, so tell me if i missed anything

    As far as i know only the mail app was updated, but i recommend replacing just incase they fixed some minor bugs or summat

    hmmm...everything works fine except for Mail

    i didnt have a PreferenceBundles folder, so i created one under the library directory, but this didnt work. any suggestions to why that might be?

    If you didnt have a preferencebundles folder your ipod wouldnt work... I just think you were lookin in the wrong place. Did you go to /System/Library/PreferenceBundles/? Cause i think you might have been looking in /private/var/root/Library. Make sure you go to the very root of the ipod, with the private and bin folders etc., then go to /System/Library/PreferenceBundles
