I recently downloaded mobile terminal for iPad using ifile from the devs google code site. So I download it and unzip but after that I have no idea what to do with it. I tried moving it to var/stash/Applications.Ietg62 but it didn't allow me. Help!

    Haven't heard of .zip apps...

I know that ifile will install .deb apps.

change the .zip to .deb and try again.
You will have to uncheck "Hide extentions for known file types" in folder options to do so.

well thanks for the feedback guys but unfortunately in order to install .deb files u need to log in as a "super user" by logging onto the root. the only way i know to do so is through mobile terminal.is their any other methods u guys can think of?

You can get iFile from Cydia! It has a .deb installer built in! And it's a lot easier to use

It's a folder called Terminal.app. Inside that folder is another folder called _CodeSignature and theirs about 10 other files in the Terminal.app folder too. I'm pretty sure that this folder is supposed to go in the folder i mentioned earlier but it won't allow me to move it
