Ok basically this is what was said on the stack blog

"Simply install using 'dpkg -i stack2_2.deb'.

You'll need to enable the Preferences Bundle after installing Stack. Use:

    '/Library/MobileStack/InstallHelper --installPrefBundle'

Bear in mind that Extended Preferences or similar applications can cause the Stack option not to show.

    Uninstall using:

    '/Library/MobileStack/InstallHelper --removePrefBundle'
    'dpkg -r com.steventroughtonsmith.stack' "

Basically I had gone to terminal Did this exactly

    1) su root
    2) alpine
    3) cd /
    4) dpkg -i stack2_2.deb

After that, it said it was installed and after I SSH'ed into my itouch and a new folder appeared in /library section. It was called Mobilestack

Basically second step of it was

"You'll need to enable the Preferences Bundle after installing Stack. Use:

    '/Library/MobileStack/InstallHelper --installPrefBundle'

    "

How do I do that? I tried redoing all the steps like

    1) su root
    2) alpine
    3) cd /
    4) /Library/MobileStack/InstallHelper --installPrefBundle

It said something like invalid or w.e

So guys plz tell me how to do that part of it atleast. All I need

THis is what I did now, I used Winscp and got in, put .deb file into /private/var/mobile, then went to terminal entered in

    su
    alpine
    dpkg -i stack2_2.deb
    /Library/MobileStack/InstallHelper --installPrefBundle

Exactly. But Right after I did the dpkg thing, it showed alot of codes under basically said it did install. Then I put that /library code in exactly, But didnt show any code under it all it showed again was
    '*My UserName*:/var/mobile root# '

So i was wondering did that work? Because then I respringed and I didnt have a stack icon anywhere. BUT I did have the stack Section in the "Settings Section"
And I tried to play around with the options in the stack settings section but there is NO icon or anything on my springboard. I also have the 5 Icon Dock, So Could that be interfering with the stack?

And your code here "/Library/MobileStack/InstallHelper --installPrefBundle"
Is the --installPrefBundle right next to "Installhelper" or is it next to Installhelper with a space? I did it with a space.

But I dont think it worked..

/Library/MobileStack/InstallHelper and right click with mouse on InstallHelper and choose enter and it will bring up new menu and in blank area fill this :

There isnt a MobileStack folder. Am I supposed to create it?
Edit:Never mind, i forgot to go to terminal and install.
Edit 2:I've done everything, its in settings, but the icon isnt showning up. does "/" mean root? (Leave out quotations)

how come when i tried installing, after typing the dpkg sentence,
only few lines of word came out. (till 'Setting up com.steventroughtonsmith.....')
then the next line is 'iPod-touch:/var/mobile root#'

    Considered installed?
