How to install apps?

    I have a jail broken ipod touch 2G 3.1.2. I picked Cydia.

    My question is how do i un-install apps i just downloaded and installed and how do i delete/ un-install stock apps?

    Do i need to download an app if so what is it called?

    I don't want to do it the open shh way.

    any one know some good sources i should add to my ipod for good games and stuff?

    Just go to the app you installed on cydia and click modify (top right) and click remove.

    In cydia go to manage then packages then find what ever you want to uninstall. Also I wouldn't recommend uninstalling the stocks apps, you can just hide it with poof.

    or use ifile. i guess thats kinda like the ssh way...

    do you mean remove icons like : stocks,calculator,notes?

    yes and itunes. But i am just using that spoof thing now.

    I understand now, But for deleting Cydia apps, Just get CyDelete. It is MUCH easier.

    Not for some packages. Some packages install multiple things and if you uninstall the icon it won't uninstall everything it installed. I learned that the hard way when I tried to uninstall Smartscreen.

    sbsettings has toggles to hide any app icon.
