hey guys i was just wondering what good way to increase my ipod's battery life. its a 3rd gen 8 gb and i played touchgrind for exactly 3 minutes and my batt went from 40% to 21%... i've already gotten rid of things like 5 column/row homescreen, winterboard settings, and keep the brightness at around 1/4 of full...i still have cydia and SB settings. any tips please?

Constantly use SBSettings to quiet uneeded tasks, or unjailbreak. Jailbreaking is the 'problem' here.

    Yeah, I live off SBSettings
When i get around 60% i turn my brightness down from 100% to maybe 35%
then it shoots back up to 70% bat life.

Yeah, keep brightness about 50%. Even in direct sunlight, 100% is too bright for normal use.

Also, if you can learn to love it, the light sensor is very helpful. Just turn that on, and it should help with the battery levels.

take it to apple. 19% battery loss in 3 minutes playing a game is ridiculous.

Well I find the gauge is not the most accurate when it gets below 50 percent. When I do something resource intensive for a few minutes it'll do that, then it'll shoot back up.
