[HOW-TO] have no waiting for rapidshare downloads

    well i have been wanting to figure this out for about an hour and actually it only takes about 1-2 minutes!! all you have to do is unplug your wireless router and plug it back in, your ip address will be reset and you can now download without that wait for a new download! this will also work with any other download site! enjoi!!:D:D

    Well by the time you reconnect to the internet and obtained an IP, the net gain won't be too large.

    actually my waiting time is about 85 minutes so reconnecting is very very helpful for me.

    Oh, I did not realize wait times were that high in some cases.

    if you download lots of files, im downloading like 10 now. it just keeps getting bigger and bigger and bigger every time

    Sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. Some ISPs give you a 'persistent IP' which is not a static IP, but if you unplug your router the IP address won't change, it only ever changes if the ISP wants to change it.

    Yeah, lol, yesterday I had to wait 155 minutes in order to download something else... xD

    the ip address stays the same but, the internal cache or something resets and allows you start a new download with no wait. whatever it is, i like being able to do it!:D
