I have an old iPod Photo that no one will buy because they can new iPods cheaper, so I want to hack it. I've already tried putting iPod Linux on it but it didn't work, so don't suggest that. Any weird, cool, or useful hacks? If possible could I get a Gameboy or Nes emulator without iPod Linux on there?

There's rockbox which I think works for the Photo Link, that has Doom but I'm not sure about gameboy or nes.

Then you could always head over to ipodwizard and you can put themes on your iPod using their software.

Those are cool, but I don't really care about themes because I hardly use my iPod Photo for music (if ever). I just deleted all music off of it so I could have more space to store things on it...I wonder how easy it is to manually create an iPod hack that allows you to read e-books except not in the Notes app thing.

I just found out how to view the iPod's file system but I don't know what else to do now...
