how to get links on springboard

    I have seen a bunch of people with links to websites on there springboard and I can't seem to figure out how to do it..

    I have tried the iPhone URL apper thing and a I put the finished .app file in the apps folder and it wouldn't work so I extracted the .app file and did it and it still won't work...can someone please help me?

    Change permissions to 755 and apply to subfolders.

    No problem, I had the same problem long time ago, when I found out it was the permissions, I was like... xD wow I'm so dumb, lol.

    isnt there a way to make it so that it does it automaticly?

    Do what automatically? Set permissions? o_o... it's not that hard.

    yes but very annoying

    and btw which do i put in the /apps folder? the .app file or the extracted folder?

    Extracted folder... it should be a folder called: appname.app
