iPhone 4 how to get iphone 4 off lockscreen lost passcode

    is there a way to use my new iphone 4? i got it from my friend and he told me the passcode for it but i forgot. anyway to reset the code?

    You can't unless you plugged into the synced computer.

    You have to restore it to bypass it.

    Well that's not exactly true. There are ways to disable it using ssh. Search the forum for a tutorial I've seen it around here somewhere.

    call your phone answer it, go to settings anndd... nvm you still need the passcode to reset the passcode... idk

    Uh I can't really get in contact with em. Anyway so should I dfu,restore or take it to a apple store or something?

    It keeps getting better and better. Call ATT and give them the ECID number and ask what you should do.
