How to get iOS 5 on iPod 2 MC Model

    Hi there, i got an iPod touch 2nd generation MC Model. My Question is Can i get iOS 5 on it?
    I tried Whited00r but Whited00r doesn't support mc models. Anyone got suggestions?

    No, never, not possible. The 2g has an armv6 processor, and iOS 5 is compiled for armv7

    There's no possible ways to get an iOS on a device it's not compatible with. Sorry.

    I don't really mean the real iOS but the custom iOS from whited00r. White d00r even got the newest available version right now(ios5.1) But I need a way to get custom firmware for my iPod mc model. Whitedoor doesn't support it I dunno why.

    I am waiting for the redd00r that is custom iOS 5 firmware for iphone3G and ipod touch 2G (for MC) and release soon, stay tuned.

    you can do it, but unless you code (i mean advanced) then there is no way

    iTunes will give you the latest your iPod can go up to. You are probably on iOS 4.2.1, and when you do a software check on iTunes it will say "your iPod is up to date". So no, no iOS 5 for the 2Gen iPod Touch.
