[GUIDE] Get eBay without being in US

eBay isn't in App Store except in the US.
Canada for example doesn't have eBay so if you live in Canada, you won't be able to get it but there is a solution for those who aren't in US to be able to obtain eBay.

You will need to make another iTunes account
Usually, when you try to make a new account, it will ask for a credit card and you won't be able to make one.

    Requirements:
    iPod/iPhone with version 2.0 or <
    iTunes 7.7
(If you don't have the 2 above, don't even bother continue reading)

If you want eBay now rather than waiting for it to show up in iTunes, follow the steps below.

EDIT: Not only eBay but other apps that are in the US store and not in the country you are in store

EDIT 2: Only works with apps that are free

    Step 1:
    and copy the code given.

    Step 2:
Make sure you are on the US store
    -Scroll to the bottom

    Step 3:
Go to iTunes store and on the right column, click "Redeem" (in Quick Links)

    Step 4.1:
Put the Code in the box and click Redeem.
It will ask you to sign in, thats where you click "Create Account"

    Step 4.2
    After you redeem code and nothing pops up;
    Go back to Home
    Click "Sign in"
    Click "Create Account"

Please Register or Log in to view images

    Step 5
Fill out the forms (You can fill in a Fake name/address since you don't live in US)

Please Register or Log in to view images

Look! Now there's a "None" in the "Credit Cards"

    Step 5
After you created your account, Navigate to App Store.
Click on the eBay app or just click here)
    Get App

    Step 6
Authrorize your account to the computer you are on.
    Do this by
After you downloaded the eBay app,
Go to "Applications" on the left hand side (If it's not there, go change the settings (Edit<Preferences. In "Show:" Check "Applications")
When you are in "Applications" double click eBay and it will ask to authorize your account.

    Step 7
    Sync eBay onto your iPod/iPhone
    Start Bidding

GarageBuy, but yeah, same dif. Works well for me. I'll probably still grab the real eBay app once they release the Canadian version, but for now, GarageBuy is <em>far</em> easier than that whole rigmarole above.

Heh... my bad. Was coding HTML by hand earlier. It's the modern way to do <b>old text. In HTML, not BBcode.
