I have installed a lot of apps. How can I get the latest updates for them? Do I have to manually look up in the app store?

If there is an update for the app, the Appstore will tell you.

it's a shame app updates cant 'push' this info direct to your ipod Touch home screen.

It will put the update figure in a red box on the App Store icon, but you need to visit the app store in the first place to get your updates visible.

    Question Regarding Updates

I hope someone can help me with this as it a pain to do the way I currently am. I installed several apps for my iPod but then removed them since I did not like them or found something that was similar but with more options! Now everytime an update is avaliable for one of the apps that I installed previously it keeps showing it and the only way I can get rid of it is by installing the update and then deleting it. It is really annoying and I am hoping that someone can help?

Thanks in advanced for any help!

Well, if you removed the app on your iPod, when you update one, it will install the update but it won't install it onto your iPod. And if you removed the app from iTunes, I recommend just leaving it in your iTunes. It doesn't hurt to have the app in case you might need it later.

The latest update version actually is 3.1.2, if your iPod is on it, well you don't have to worry about it, since iPad got out, they don't care anymore 'bout iPod touch

What makes you say that Apple doesn't care about the iPod Touch anymore?
