I recently upgraded my ipod touch to 3.1.1. and when i was installing all my themes on cydia, i couldn't find one which would let me change the "ipod" icon from orange to blue. I used to have it, but i can't find it now. btw i'm runing mobilemusicplayerflip.

If anyone could help me, by giving the cydia source or could tell me how i could change the colour of the icon, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here's one I just cooked up in GIMP.

If it's not the right blue, I can make another one.

EDIT: Sorry, I did the wrong icon.

Thanks for providing that Octizzle, my own spin on it. Very simple to adjust OP, if you want it lighter/darker just ask.

if you have applied any theme, just add the icon to the icons folder in the theme and it'll be done.
it's got to have the same name as the original icon though!

thanks "DonVerse", but i'm not running any theme, I'm just using "user wallpaper" in winterboard. How would I change it? Or will i have to apply a theme and change the icon through that?

Because of the way WinterBoard works, you can simply make your own 'theme' with just that one icon so that the only thing it changes when enabled in WinterBoard is...that one icon. This is in contrast to what DonVerse suggested (though what he suggested DOES work). IF you were running a particular theme and went into that particular themes Icon folder and replaced the orange iPod icon with this blue one, what would happen IF you wanted to go back to the orange one? You're out of luck now because you overwrote it. IF however you made your own 'theme' and let WinterBoard apply it, you would be able to go back to the orange icon because it still exists.

Make a folder called, I dunno...Blue iPod icon. Whatever you name this folder is what will show up in WinterBoard. Inside that folder, make another folder called Icons (pay attention to capitalization). And inside the Icons folder, put your blue ipod icon which needs to be named iPod.png if you're using MMP Flip OR Music.png if you're using the default music player. Copy it over to the private/var/stash/Themes.xxxxx folder, reboot and then drag it to the top of the WinterBoard list and enable it.
