So I JB'd a 2.1 Touch for a kid at work who is just getting into the JB thing.

He starts screwin' with Cydia and downloads "categories". Well, he uninstalled it from Cydia, but the "Apps" icon still sits on his springboard. I haven't ever installed it so I've never uninstalled it.

Is there any way to *completely* uninstall so that Apps icon goes away or do I just tell him to deal??

    TIA

    Nevermind..........figured it out.

    1.) Reinstall categories

    2.) Go into categories

    3.) right-swipe "apps" icon

    4.) Touch "delete"

5.) NOW, go ahead & uninstall categories!

(might still be something in the filesystem, but for this kid.........hey, it's gone)

Or you could empty the Apps folder, then delete it through Categories, no sh*t.
