Does anybody know how to fix it because I jailbroke before and it broke my iPod touch and I had to get a new one so I don't want to jailbreak.

No. You need to jailbreak to fix it.

Just be careful about what PDFs you open, Apple is coming out with a fix soon.

I've already had the exploit patched (as in I don't even need the warner anymore) jailbroken, search around iptf

You didn't break your first iPod because of jailbreaking.
    It is still working.

4.0.2 fixes it, doesn't it? Wasn't that the whole point of the update?

If it does, just upgrade through iTunes.
